Communication and transparency is very important at Manitou Springs School District. We work hard to keep families, staff, and the community informed of happenings in and around the schools.

Through the use of social media, the district’s website, and partnerships with local media (i.e., newspaper, television, radio), we share stories that are significant at MSSD14.

The communications team works on releasing information in a timely manner by utilizing:
  • District’s website
  • Mass notifications to parents via text, phone, and email
  • Mobile district app alerts
  • News releases and announcements
  • Social media posts
We also provide assistance and training to school administrators regarding effective relations with the news media.
