The Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills (DIBELS) assessment is administered three times a year to track language arts readiness. Nationally norm-referenced, DIBELS is one part of our larger body of formative and summative evidence about how ready our kindergartners are to begin learning to read. The graph shows overall students’ performance related to grade level expectation.

The STAR Early Literacy benchmark assessment is administered three times a year to track language arts readiness. Nationally norm-referenced, STAR Early Literacy is one part of our larger body of formative and summative evidence about how ready our first-graders are to begin reading. The graphs show performance in relation to the national benchmark at beginning of year and again at the higher benchmark in the middle of the year. STAR Early Literacy national benchmark lexile at the beginning of the year is 651 and at the middle of the year is 704.

The Renaissance STAR Reading benchmark assessment is administered three times a year to track Reading performance and growth. Nationally norm-referenced, STAR Reading is one part of our larger body of formative and summative evidence about how well our students are reading compared to national benchmarks. The graphs show our students’ performance compared to benchmarks at the beginning of year and compared to the higher benchmark in the middle of the year. STAR Reading national benchmark for this grade is 189 at the beginning of the year and is 227 at mid-year, on a scale of 1500.

Nationally norm-referenced, STAR Math is one part of our larger body of formative and summative evidence about how well our students are doing in math compared to national benchmarks. The graphs show our students’ performance compared to benchmarks at the beginning of year and compared to the higher benchmark in the middle of the year. STAR Math national benchmark for this grade is 238 at the beginning of the year and is 268 at mid-year, on a scale of 1200.
