Care Mobile To Offer Check-ups to Students

On March 1st from 11 am till 6pm the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile will be offering Immunizations in Manitou Springs on Duclo Avenue, across from the school bus lane at MSES. This event is for anyone ages newborn-21 years old who resides in Manitou Springs or attends a Manitou Springs school.

All forms that need to be completed are on all MSSD 14; School Facebook pages, the District webpage under District Information then under Health Information on the City of Manitou Springs Facebook page and they will be available on site at the RMCM on March 1st. Forms may also be picked up at each school.

The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile is providing at no direct cost to the patient immunizations for anyone ages newborn-21 years old.

MSSD 14 will transport students to and from the site from 11 am until 3pm. Only if the parent/guardian has completed the all Forms to include the Authorization for Treatment of a Minor, a parent/guardian does not need to be present for the immunization event. After 3pm transportation will be the responsibility of the parent/guardian.

If you plan to have MSSD transport your student please send in the completed forms to your student’s school by Wednesday, February 28th. The event has no appointment times, it is on a first come, first serve basis. If you are under 21 years of age and plan to attend or plan to bring your child (newborn-21 years old) to the RMCM please email the host coordinator LeAnn Sharon at [email protected] in order to maintain an accurate headcount of patients who will be attending so RMCM can plan accordingly.

If you have any questions regarding services please call 719-866-6789. If you have questions regarding the forms or having your student transported from their school please contact the PHC office at 685-2004 or email [email protected]. More information is available on the next page.
